At the end of 2015 I moved to the Ooievaarsnest with my wife Alessia. In February of the following year we had a wonderful reason to put the ‘neighbourhood stork’ in the garden: our son Valentino was born!
From the very first moment we came to the neighbourhood, I have felt at home here. It is a pleasant neighbourhood, lovely activities are organised and a nice international mix is beginning to emerge, with residents from all corners of the world. With our Italian touch, we happily join in.
Since February 2019 I have very much enjoyed taking on the role of chair of Wijkvereniging Ooievaarsnest. I think it is important to contribute to a good atmosphere in the neighbourhood. The residents’ association plays an important role in that. My personal aim is to make sure the residents’ association is a good reflection of the neighbourhood, so that current and new residents feel just as much at home as I do!
